Municipal IRPEF surcharge
With resolution no. 30 of 8 April 2025 the city council amended the regulation and rates of the municipal surcharge on IRPEF (personal income tax) from 1 January 2025, aligning it with the three national brackets: 0.70% up to 28,000 euros, 0.75% from 28,000.01 to 50,000 euros, 0.80% above 50,000 euros. The exemption threshold stays at 15,000 euros. From 2022 to 2024 there were four brackets, with rates from 0.60% to 0.75%. In an August 2025 press release the Comune states that it keeps the lowest IRPEF among Veneto's provincial capitals.
Regional pass voucher
The Regione del Veneto has offered adults resident in Veneto who own, or are first registered holders of, a car or motorcycle a voucher that lowers the price of an annual pass (of at least ten months) on urban and extra-urban bus services in the provincial capitals, Vicenza included, or on regional trains starting or ending in a capital. The voucher is higher for those who did not benefit from the previous call; timing and rules of new editions are on the Region's page.
