Lake Piediluco hosts the national rowing centre, with kayak and pedal-boat hire and equipped beaches; residents can request the Marmore Card for the Falls online. In the city, the Secci theatre, the Terni Film Festival in November and a horror festival shared with Narni.

Water and nature
The Italian Rowing Federation chose Lake Piediluco as the site of its National Rowing Centre, where elite athletes train and the Meet-In Piediluco with the Paolo D'Aloja Memorial International Regatta is held in spring. For everyone there is kayak and pedal-boat hire, boat trips, lakeside walks and equipped beaches. At the Marmore Falls there are panoramic trails and rafting on the Nera; Terni residents can request the Marmore Card for park entry from home.
Culture and evenings
The regional calendar lists for Terni the Teatro Secci season, the Teatro Stabile dell'Umbria season shared with Perugia, the Terni Film Festival in November, the Terni and Narni Horror Fest between late October and early November and the TIC Festival in spring. CAOS hosts exhibitions and the museum of modern and contemporary art.
