Parco del Mare
The Parco del Mare is the seaward redevelopment project characterised by soil de-sealing, that is, replacing sealed surfaces with greenery and draining paving. The Comune has approved the project for a square of about a thousand square metres between viale Vespucci and via Paolo e Francesca, with a garden, lighting, WiFi and 640 square metres of greenery, linking the station underpass to the Parco del Mare; works are planned to finish before the next summer season.
- Cycling: the municipal cycle network reached 202.6 kilometres in 2026, with new links planned for 2027 between Viserba, Viserbella and the southern part of the city; participation in the Bike to Work scheme, for those who cycle to work, is growing.
- Cinema: at the Cinemino in Palazzo del Fulgor (25 seats) Fellini's films are free on Tuesdays from 4 pm; the documentary La verità della menzogna is screened in the building every day.
- Library: the Gambalunga, at via Gambalunga 27, with its children's library open from September to June.
