Buses and fares
Local public transport is run by Start Romagna, which publishes routes and timetables by area. Fares depend on the number of zones crossed. Monthly, annual and Under 26 passes are personal and loaded onto the Mi Muovo microchip card, issued at the ticket offices in Ravenna, Forlì, Cesena, Rimini and Riccione with a recent passport photo; renewals can be made online, with the MooneyGo app, at Punto Bus offices and at authorised retailers. A monthly or annual regional rail pass is also valid on Ravenna's buses.
Line 1
Since 15 September 2026 line 1 has been free every day, from the first to the last run, at the Comune's initiative. It serves the free car park on via Secondo Bini (Cinema City), piazza della Resistenza, piazza Natalina Vacchi, the hospital on via Missiroli, the centre, the Pala De André area, via Antica Milizia and Porto Fuori.
Sea and airport
Marina di Ravenna Link combines regional train and Start Romagna bus on a single ticket, sold through Trenitalia and Trenitalia Tper channels. On 18 September 2026 the mayors of Forlì and Ravenna and two shareholders of the operating company signed the protocol by which Forlì's Luigi Ridolfi airport officially becomes Forlì-Ravenna Airport; from Forlì station the Forlì Aeroporto Link train+bus service reaches the airport.
