Line 1 without tickets
At the Comune's initiative, since 15 September 2026 no ticket needs to be bought or validated on Start Romagna's line 1, every day from the first to the last run. The line links the free car park on via Secondo Bini (Cinema City area), piazza della Resistenza, piazza Natalina Vacchi, the hospital on via Missiroli, the centre, the Pala De André area and via Antica Milizia as far as Porto Fuori: drivers can leave the car at the park-and-ride and reach the centre and the hospital without paying for parking.
Passes
Start Romagna passes are personal and zone-based: the price depends on the number of zones crossed. Besides monthly and annual passes there is the annual Under 26 pass, for those aged 26 or under on the start date, and a pass reserved for people aged 70 or over who live in the Comune or the Province of Ravenna.
Rent support
Tenants renting on the private market in the Ravenna, Cervia and Russi district can apply for the regional rent contribution, which covers a share of the annual rent, up to a cap, when rent weighs heavily on income; it is paid by the Comune di Ravenna as managing body, based on a district ranking. Requirements and deadlines are in the Housing section.
