Offices and waste
Appointments with municipal offices, including the registry and civil status offices, are booked online from the municipal portal. Waste collection in Piacenza is run by Iren Ambiente, which publishes rules, calendars and tariffs for each municipality and has the IrenAmbiente app; the municipal page on waste management explains the pay-as-you-throw tariff (TCP), collection methods and the eco-islands. In 2026 the municipality opened a call for incentives for sorted waste collection, with the deadline extended to 16 November.
