The University of Calabria is not in the city: the Arcavacata campus has a postal address in Rende (via Pietro Bucci, 87036). Consorzio Autolinee buses run from the terminus in piazza Autostazione in Cosenza; the university offers a residential centre, housing service, canteen and guest house (Residenza Socrates).

The University of Calabria's website gives its address as via Pietro Bucci, 87036 Rende (CS) and calls the campus "of Arcavacata". Anyone looking for a home to study there should therefore consider Rende, Cosenza and the neighbouring comuni.
Getting there from Cosenza
From the "How to get here" page: Consorzio Autolinee runs the service between Cosenza and Rende, with the Cosenza terminus in piazza Autostazione, stops at several points in Cosenza and Rende (including Quattromiglia) and arrival at the campus. By train, Castiglione Cosentino station is about 3 km from the university and connects with the Paola (Tyrrhenian line) and Sibari (Ionian line) hubs; from the station you follow via Edison for about 100 m and, after crossing via Leonardo da Vinci, reach the university bus stop. Lines and timetables should be asked of the Consorzio.
Student services
Among student services the portal lists the campus Residential Centre and its quarters, the housing service (right to study), the canteen service and the guest house, also labelled Residenza Socrates. Conditions and applications are on the university's dedicated pages.
