Network and tickets
ASF Autolinee runs Como's urban network, which also uses electric buses. Urban tickets come as “rete urbana” (urban network) and “area urbana” (urban area); e-tickets are loaded onto the e·TIC card (Chip on Paper), while “Swipe On Lake” lets passengers pay contactless with a card, phone or wearable. Urban passes include an annual one with parking included (rete urbana + parking), and there is a Como–Chiasso international ticket. Older paper urban tickets are no longer valid.
On-demand service
ASF Flex is the on-demand service run by the same company, with an urban version (Flex Urbano). Timetables in PDF, the network map and line notices are published on the website.
ZTL
The historic centre (“Città murata”) is a restricted-traffic zone in force all year, with electronic gates at via Cinque Giornate, via Diaz, via Carducci, via Indipendenza, via Rodari, via Grassi and via Cairoli; it also includes the Volta, Duomo, Perretta and Juvara pedestrian areas. Residents, operators and categories with a genuine need to enter may do so; the permit is requested online only with SPID or CIE, attaching the vehicle registration document.
