Two USLs (Umbria 1 with Perugia, Umbria 2 with Terni) and two hospital trusts (Perugia and Terni). Numero Umbria Sanità 800 63 63 63 for bookings, Electronic Health Record and digital services run by the regional company PuntoZero. Mountain rescue in the Sibillini and on Monte Cucco.

Organisation
Umbria's health service is organised in two Aziende USL: USL Umbria 1 (Perugia, Upper Tiber valley, Trasimeno, Assisi, Gubbio-Gualdo, Middle Tiber valley) and USL Umbria 2 (Terni, Foligno, Spoleto, Valnerina, Narni-Amelia, Orvieto), plus the hospital trusts of Perugia (Santa Maria della Misericordia, university hospital) and Terni (Santa Maria). GP choice is made at district desks or online with SPID/CIE.
Booking, health record, co-payments
Bookings go through the Numero Umbria Sanità 800 63 63 63 (single regional booking centre), desks, pharmacies and online services; the Electronic Health Record and other digital platforms are run by PuntoZero, the Region's in-house company. Co-payment exemptions follow national rules with regional additions to be checked each year; Umbria used to have extra prescription charges, since abolished.
Mountains
In the Monti Sibillini, on Monte Cucco (free flight and caves) and in the Valnerina rescue is provided by the Umbria Alpine and Cave Rescue with the regional helicopter (based in Perugia): call 112. The earthquake-hit areas of the Valnerina have rebuilt or temporary health posts.
