Student services
Urbino and Camerino are university towns in the strict sense, with a very high ratio of students to residents and housing costs below those of the provincial capitals; Ancona and Macerata offer more urban services. ERDIS Marche (the regional agency for the right to education) manages grants, residences, canteens and allowances for all the region's universities as a single body, with offices in Ancona, Camerino, Macerata and Urbino: the annual call is published in summer and rankings are based on the university ISEE means test and merit.
International programmes
English-taught programmes have grown mainly at the Politecnica (engineering, economics) and Camerino (sciences, computer science); the other universities have few programmes entirely in English. The Ministry's Universitaly portal lists courses, requirements and procedures for international students.
