Working in Verona: agri-food exports, logistics, trade fairs
The province mainly exports food, machinery, textiles and clothing, and wine, with Germany as the first market. The Quadrante Europa freight village makes Verona a national logistics hub; Veronafiere hosts international shows such as Marmomac and Fieracavalli and, in November, JOB&Orienta.

Sectors and exports
The Chamber of Commerce report on 2025 foreign trade (provisional ISTAT data) describes an outward-looking economy: in 2025 food became the largest export item, followed by machinery, textiles and clothing, and beverages, almost all wine; fruit and vegetables, stone and marble and furniture grew, while footwear fell sharply. Germany is the first export market, ahead of France and Spain; the United States declined. Among imports motor vehicles weigh most, which the Chamber links to Verona's role as a national logistics hub.
Logistics and trade fairs
The Quadrante Europa freight village, run by the Consorzio ZAI on via Sommacampagna, presents itself as Italy's largest "city of goods" and has its own rail area with rail connections. Veronafiere organises shows that bring exhibitors and operators from dozens of countries to the city: Marmomac, Fieracavalli in November, ArtVerona, the Verona Mineral Show and, at the end of November, JOB&Orienta.
