Transport: ATM city buses with winter timetables and Trapani-Birgi airport
Urban public transport is run by ATM S.p.A. Trapani, whose winter timetables for all lines apply from 5 October 2026 to 15 June 2027. The municipality has started the procedure to re-award the urban bus service. Trapani-Birgi airport, run by Airgest, has flights to Lampedusa, Pantelleria and several Italian and European cities.

City buses
ATM S.p.A. (Azienda Trasporti e Mobilità) runs local public transport. From 5 October 2026 to 15 June 2027 the winter timetables apply, published for all lines on weekdays, Sundays and holidays on the company's website. The municipality issues elderly and disabled people a travel pass for ATM vehicles and in February 2025 published the pre-information notice for the tender of the urban local bus service.
Airport
Trapani-Birgi airport, run by Airgest, presents itself as the airport of western Sicily; destinations listed on its site include Lampedusa, Pantelleria, Rome Fiumicino, Milan Malpensa, Venice, Bologna, Bergamo and several European cities. The site publishes bus and shuttle connections, parking and car hire.
