Since 3 June 2026 the electronic ID card is issued by appointment only. Separate waste collection is organised in six zones with yearly calendars; the municipality lends home composters. The weekly market is on Thursdays, with a new market planned in the Fontanelle Sud district.

The municipal portal states that since 3 June 2026 the electronic ID card is issued by appointment only; for renewals the notice gives booking hours Monday to Friday (8:30-12:40) and Monday and Thursday from 15:00 to 17:00. There is an online service for appointments with offices and for reports; the freephone number is 800 019 764 and the single switchboard 0923 590111.
Waste
The Trapani area is divided into six zones for separate waste collection, with yearly calendars published for household and non-household users; the municipality lends home composters free of charge to residents of Trapani and Misiliscemi. The portal links to a waste transparency site and to the bulky-waste pickup service.
Markets
The weekly market is held on Thursdays (the municipality has published a notice for a weekly market to be set up in the Fontanelle Sud district); also listed are the Piazzale Ilio market and the "Mercato ittico coperto" for selling local catch.
