Waste
Separate waste in Siena is collected door to door, with bag distribution for residents of the historic centre. The Renaccio collection centre is run by Sei Toscana srl, while the composting plant at the same site is run in-house by the Comune, authorised by Regione Toscana. Eight underground eco-islands funded by the PNRR are active: the last was inaugurated at Porta Pispini on 4 August 2026. Collection is modified on Palio days. The Comune publishes the waste regulation and the URP toll-free number, 800 292292.
Registry, market, library
The Comune's site gathers the pages on residence, registry and civil status. The market whose editions the Comune lists is Il Mercato nel Campo, held in December and organised with trade associations; the page also describes the service for non-professionals selling low-value goods. The Biblioteca comunale degli Intronati e Archivio storico has its own site, and the Comune offers two free public Wi-Fi networks.
