Getting around: ATP buses, beach lines, ARST to the airport
Urban and suburban transport is run by ATP Sassari, with urban lines (including the PT to Porto Torres) and suburban lines to the outlying villages and Marina di Platamona, plus summer beach lines; tickets can also be bought by app. Alghero airport is 33 km away, linked all year by ARST buses.

ATP buses
ATP Sassari runs the urban lines — including the CS circular, the VV line and the PT line to Porto Torres — and suburban lines to Predda Niedda, Bancali, Li Punti, Ottava, La Landrigga, Caniga, Buddi Buddi and Marina di Platamona. In summer the Marina di Sorso line and the Linea Marina are added; some school services run only on teaching days. ATP also runs local transport in Sorso and Sennori with two circular lines.
Tickets
Tickets are sold at retail outlets, through the ATP app or through the web app for online purchase; fines are paid via PagoPA. Fares and passes are published on the company's website.
Airport
Alghero-Fertilia airport is 33 km from Sassari: the ARST extra-urban line (Sassari branch) links it with the city all year, with daily services.
