Climate and air: monitoring at Fratte

ARPAC, Campania's environmental agency, runs the regional air-quality network and has carried out dedicated monitoring in Salerno's Fratte district, with a mobile laboratory and annual reports since 2022. Temperatures, rainfall and PM10 exceedances are in the data.

Air quality

The regional network run by ARPAC has 36 fixed stations and 5 mobile laboratories, plus six fixed stations owned by third parties, located according to the zoning approved by the Campania Region in 2014.

For Salerno the agency has a dedicated section on the Fratte district, where it measured air quality with a mobile laboratory: summary reports, with daily fine-particulate concentrations and daily air-quality indices, are published for every year from 2022 to 2025. The latest, updated to 27 July 2026, states that the laboratory has been removed.
