The Italo Falcomatà seafront, about 1.7 km along the Strait, and the Arena dello Stretto, an open-air theatre for concerts, shows and festivities. Municipal sports facilities are allocated to clubs each season.

Seafront and Arena
The Italo Falcomatà seafront is a promenade of about 1.7 km along the coast. On it stands the Arena dello Stretto «Ciccio Franco», or Teatro Anassilaos: a modern theatre built in imitation of Greek theatres, where the Porto Salvo pier stood before the 1908 earthquake, looking out over the Strait. It hosts music, theatre and film events and seasonal festivities; two side ramps make it accessible to people with disabilities.
Sport
Municipal sports facilities and school gyms are allocated to clubs through public notices for each sports season (the latest for 2026/27); in 2026 the Comune set up a register of sports associations and clubs based in the city. The city has also hosted the Optisud – Mediterranean Cup sailing event in the Strait and, at Parco Caserta, the «Pino Labate» national trophy.
