Public housing
In Pisa public residential housing is managed by APES S.c.p.A., which took over from ATER under regional law 77/98; the homes are owned by the municipalities. Its office is at piazza dei Facchini 16 (phone 050.505711); current calls are in the "Bandi e Avvisi" section of the website, forms in a dedicated section, and the "Contatti/Appuntamenti" page explains how to book an appointment or video call; check the application procedure there. The site also publishes public notices for letting homes (for example six homes in via Pietrasantina, Campaldo, with a final ranking approved by act no. 205 of 23 December 2025).
Students from out of town
For University of Pisa students the DSU Toscana scholarship includes housing, free meals at university canteens, a contribution for extra costs (books, sport) and exemption from university fees. Those not awarded a place can use Tuscany's "Cerco Alloggio" service to find verified rooms, beds or apartments.
