Daily life: demographic services by appointment, Akrea and markets
The Comune has an «Anagrafe, stato civile, elettorale» section and an appointment booking system; the electronic identity card is booked through the Solariq app. Waste is handled by Akrea (toll-free 800 55 56 50); there is a municipal market in via Giacomo Manna and one on the first Thursday of the month.

Registry and documents
The Comune's portal has an «Anagrafe, stato civile, elettorale» section and an appointment booking page; access to the demographic services is by appointment and for the electronic identity card (CIE) booking is done with the Solariq app. The municipal seat is at piazza della Resistenza 1; switchboard 0962 921111.
Waste
The urban hygiene service is run by Akrea S.p.A., which according to its site has worked in Crotone since 1949. The mixed model uses door-to-door collection for single homes, proximity bins for condominiums and street containers on main roads. The collection calendar is on Akrea's site. Delivering bulky waste to the ecological islands is free; home pickup is reserved, according to the service page, for people who have difficulty reaching the ecological stations. Markets and library
The Comune publishes two markets: the municipal market in via Giacomo Manna, for the weekly market and street trading, and the market held on the first Thursday of the month. The Biblioteca comunale «Armando Lucifero» is the city's main library, established in 1978 and open to the public since 1993.
