Who can get an ERSU bed
An ERSU bed is obtained only through the annual public competition (bando di concorso), and in general it can be requested by students eligible for a scholarship enrolled in courses based in Catania. Excluded are "in sede" students resident in Catania and nearby towns (including Aci Castello, Gravina di Catania, Mascalucia, San Giovanni La Punta) and commuters from towns such as Acireale, Paternò, Giarre and Zafferana. A limited number of places is reserved for temporary stays of students, teachers and young people taking part in university activities.

Rankings and market
Housing rankings and bed-acceptance procedures are published on the ERSU website at the start of the academic year, with any corrections: follow them there. Those looking on the private market find the OMI rent and sale quotations for the central zone in the data block.
