Work: the Irpinia Sannio Chamber of Commerce and the 2025 economic report
Benevento falls under the Irpinia Sannio Chamber of Commerce, which publishes an annual report on the provinces of Avellino and Benevento (the 2025 edition was presented on 1 December 2025). Tourism around the Santa Sofia UNESCO site is the subject of an ISNART report from July 2026.

The economic picture
The Irpinia Sannio Chamber of Commerce, covering the provinces of Avellino and Benevento, publishes the annual analysis by its Studies Office: the 2025 edition, presented on 1 December 2025, covers business structure and trends, the labour market, exports and leading sectors, innovation and digitalisation, household consumption and demographic trends. The full report is attached to the page as a PDF; the Chamber also offers a territorial dataview with economic indicators for the two provinces.
Tourism as a sector
In July 2026 the Chamber released the ISNART report (Mirabilia project) on the tourism sustainability level of the Benevento destination, pointing to the Santa Sofia complex as a strategic element of tourism development.
