Getting around from Fuorigrotta

Three networks meet: EAV's Cumana (Fuorigrotta, Mostra and Edenlandia stations), ANM's Line 6 (Mostra, Augusto, Lala) and Line 2 at Napoli Campi Flegrei station. After the earthquake of 31 July 2026 the Cumana has been running over its full length again since 11 September 2026.

Cumana

The Cumana (Montesanto – Torregaveta) crosses the quarter with Fuorigrotta, Mostra and Edenlandia stations: towards the centre it calls at Corso Vittorio Emanuele and ends at Montesanto, westwards it continues to Agnano, Bagnoli and Pozzuoli. Under the timetable in force from 11 September 2026 the first train from Montesanto is at 5:15 and the last at 22:40, with a train roughly every quarter of an hour in the middle of the day.

After the earthquake of 31 July 2026 EAV cut trains back to Bagnoli because of damage in the Monte Olibano tunnel, between Dazio and Gerolomini, with replacement buses; since 11 September 2026 service has been running over the whole line again, and doubling of the entire line is scheduled for March 2027. EAV also runs the Soccavo – Monte S. Angelo line.

Line 6 and Line 2

Line 6, reopened on 16 July 2024, starts from Mostra station, fully underground beneath piazzale Tecchio along viale Augusto, with a direct interchange with the Cumana from the mezzanine; it continues to Augusto, on largo Veniero, and Lala, on largo Lala, then Mergellina (change for Line 2), Chiaia and Municipio (change for Line 1).

RFI's Napoli Campi Flegrei station, on Line 2, has six passenger tracks, a ticket office, lifts to tracks 2 to 5, a bus and metro stop and FS Park parking.
