Daily life: registry office, local branches, waste, Acclavio library
Change of residence is declared on the Comune's online desk; since 1 September 2026 the electronic identity card at the local registry branches is issued only by online appointment. Waste and bulky-item collection are run by Kyma Ambiente. The Pietro Acclavio civic library is on via Salinella.

Registry office
The declaration of change of dwelling or residence, online registry certificates, cohabitation agreements and civil unions go through the Comune's online desk; the town hall is at piazza Municipio 1 and appointments are booked in the «Prenotazioni» section of the website. Since 1 September 2026, at the local registry branches the electronic identity card (CIE) is issued only by online appointment, except for documented emergencies; collecting a CIE, reprinting PIN and PUK codes, authentications and registry certificates still need no appointment. People who cannot travel for health reasons can request a home visit with a medical certificate.

Waste
Waste collection, transport and street cleaning are run by Kyma Ambiente (formerly AMIU), piazza Pertini 4. Bulky items can be taken to the centres on via Federico II in Lama and on via De Gasperi; home pick-up is requested on the toll-free number 800 013 739, which also handles bin emergencies.
Library
The «Pietro Acclavio» civic library, at via Salinella 31, holds more than 160,000 items, including old and modern books, periodicals and multimedia, with accessible spaces and services for all ages.
