VisitSavona, the Comune's tourism portal, lists three theatres: the Teatro Comunale Chiabrera (piazza Diaz 2), the Officine Solimano (piazza Rebagliati), a former factory turned multi-purpose centre, and the Teatro Sacco in the old town. For sport it points to canoeing, kayaking and sailing, municipal pools and bowls clubs, gyms and skating rinks.

Theatres and music
The Teatro Comunale Chiabrera, in piazza Diaz 2, hosts drama, music, operetta and children's theatre seasons. The Officine Solimano, in piazza Rebagliati, are a former factory restored as a multi-purpose centre for theatre, concerts, film and events and a meeting place for young people. The Teatro Sacco, a private theatre at via Quarda Superiore 1 in the old town, is presented by the portal as the city's oldest theatre, active since 1785. VisitSavona also publishes the season of the Polo Musicale Savonese, with Opera Giocosa, the Symphony Orchestra and the Ensemble Nuove Musiche.
Sport
The portal's sport page suggests canoeing, kayaking and sailing along the coast and panoramic trails in the woods inland; for facilities it points to municipal swimming pools, pitches, stadiums and sports halls, gyms, skating rinks and municipal bowls clubs (bocciofile).
