Studying in Ragusa: the University of Catania's Special Teaching Structure
In Ragusa the University of Catania has its Special Teaching Structure (SDS), active since October 2022, with five degree courses: Linguistic and Intercultural Mediation, Management of Enterprises for the Sustainable Economy, Management of Mediterranean Agricultural Production Systems, Sport Sciences and the master's in Linguistic Sciences for Interculture and Education.

The structure
The Ragusa SDS was activated in October 2022 and replaced the previous Special Teaching Structure of Foreign Languages and Literatures. Its president is appointed by delegation of the Rector of the University of Catania, which also has a delegate for relations with the Ragusa area; the University states its aspiration that Ragusa become a university campus, with new investment.
