Appointments with the municipality, including for the electronic identity card, are booked online. Separate waste collection has a dedicated website (municipality and Formula Ambiente) with a calendar by zone, a seasonal recycling centre and an information Ecopoint.

The Comune di Oristano portal (piazza E. d'Arborea 44, switchboard 0783 7911) lets you book an appointment, including for the CIE, and file requests through the online counter. The portal links to the municipal library and the municipality's open-data portal.
Waste
Separate collection has an official website run by the municipality and Formula Ambiente spa, with the pickup calendar by zone and guides on what and how to sort, the eco-glossary and the service charter. From June to September the recycling centre is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7:00-14:00 and Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 7:00-13:00 and 14:00-18:00; from October to May Monday to Saturday 8:30-12:30 and 13:30-16:30, and Sunday 11:00-13:00. The information Ecopoint is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:00-13:00 and Tuesday and Thursday 15:30-19:30. The site also lists a mobile recycling centre, drop-off points for used clothes and vegetable oil, and a page on the TARIP fee.
