Transport: 8 urban lines awaiting a new tender and ENbike bike sharing

In the Transport Regulation Authority's comments the urban service has 8 lines and the outgoing operator is SAIS; the new tender is a single lot for 9 years. The municipality offers the ENbike municipal bike sharing. The current operator should be checked.

Urban buses

In its comments on the award report (prot. 47262/2025) the Transport Regulation Authority describes Enna's urban bus service with 8 lines and about 430,632 kilometres a year. The outgoing operator is SAIS; the municipality plans a new single-lot tender, lasting 9 years on a net-cost basis, with the winner obliged to buy 10 buses. The planned start date was 1 April 2025, which the Authority considered too close. The operator currently in charge does not appear in the sources consulted.

Bike sharing

The municipality has a municipal bike-sharing service called ENbike, presented on the Tourism page of the portal.
