Daily life: waste collection by Dusty, online services and the fruit-and-vegetable market
Waste collection follows precise rules: containers out by midnight starting from 06:00 the day before, semi-transparent bags and no black bags, otherwise a "red sticker". The municipality has online services and a toll-free number to report fly-tipping.

Waste
For collection the municipality asks residents to put the containers outside the home or condominium by 24:00, starting from 06:00 on the previous day. Black bags are not to be used: biodegradable, compostable bags for organic waste, semi-transparent bags for all other fractions. Non-compliant bags get a "red sticker" and are not collected by Dusty's crews. To report waste dumped on municipal public land there is the toll-free number 800.164.722.
Municipal services and Local Police
The portal lets users book an appointment online and pay via PagoPA, and has a Sportello del Cittadino (citizens' desk) section. The call service to the Local Police is active from 07:00 to 24:00, according to the commander.
Water
The municipality's "Acqua" page reports recurring interruptions of the water supply: in October 2026 the mayor called the situation intolerable and criticised Siciliacque. Newcomers can follow the page for notices.
Markets and library
The municipality lists the Mercato Ortofrutticolo (via Ponte Bloy) and the Strata 'a foglia, a historic street where the fruit-and-vegetable market has been held since 1500, as well as the Scarabelli municipal library in via Gravina.
