Leisure: municipal sports facilities and the Villa comunale park
Benevento's municipal Sports Service awards gyms, sports grounds, swimming pools and municipal stadiums through public calls and grants temporary use of facilities on request; the rules are in the regulation approved on 19 June 2025. The Villa comunale park hosts non-profit events with municipal clearance.

Sport
The Sports Service manages the municipal sports facilities (gyms, sports grounds, swimming pools, stadiums): management is obtained by taking part in the calls published on the online notice board, temporary use of a facility is requested with a form sent to the service's certified e-mail address, and grants for sports activities go through public notices. Each year a notice schedules the use of municipal gyms by sports clubs, after consulting school heads. The regulation on the use and concession of facilities was approved by City Council resolution no. 37 of 19 June 2025.
Villa comunale
Private citizens, cultural associations and non-profit bodies can hold non-commercial events in the grounds of the Villa comunale by requesting clearance (nulla osta) from the municipality.
