Leisure: Pietro Mennea seafront, Levante and Ponente beaches, the Disfida and Yoga Fest
Barletta has the Pietro Mennea seafront with a long cycle path and beaches divided by the port into Levante and Ponente. The Comune promotes the Disfida re-enactment, the Yoga Fest and the "Origami" family services centre.

The regional guide describes the Pietro Mennea seafront as a promenade with a long cycle path. At Levante there are many equipped lidos and some free areas; at Ponente more free areas, popular for surfing and kitesurfing. The Comune has a section on maritime state property.
Events and services
Among its "leisure" topics the Comune lists the Disfida di Barletta programme, the Yoga Fest and the programme of the Centro Servizi per le Famiglie "Origami", plus ordinances on alcohol and glass during football matches. Through "Adotta la tua area verde" residents can look after municipal green areas.
