The Comune's main switchboard (piazza Umberto I) is +39 0883 290111. The home page leads to the online counter, appointment booking, reporting of problems and SpidMail, a free certified e-mail for residents; payments go through the PagoPA/MyPay portal.
Waste
Collection is run by Gial Ambiente; its Andria page points to PDF calendars for four zones, with separate lists for households and non-household users. The toll-free number is 800 959304 from landlines and 328 6955354 from mobiles or WhatsApp; one call books free home collection of bulky items, pruning and mowing waste and electronic waste (WEEE). The municipal collection centre is listed as open Monday to Saturday from 7:00 to 18:45, closed on Sundays and holidays; the page gives two different addresses, so confirm the location first. The Comune's site also has a "Trasparenza Rifiuti" portal.
Markets and libraries
The Comune lists the former municipal market at via Flavio Giugno 28 and the fruit and vegetable market at via Barletta 86; the page gives no days or hours. The libraries are the Biblioteca comunale "Giuseppe Ceci" (piazza Sant'Agostino 5), with lending and cultural events, and the Biblioteca diocesana "San Tommaso d'Aquino" (Seminario vescovile 8).
